"Distal Breath" is about the newfound feeling I experienced in my hand after being released from a cast of around 6 weeks. It is a performance to celebrate the subtle recognition of nerves and mobile capabilities while

recovering from an injury.



For this piece I moved freely and interacted with the fabric and the space until I couldn't feel my fingers.
